   :: Job Resources

Excerpted from the Argentina Guide

In Argentina, a good first step in a career search is to apply for a job through search firms and online job sites. Execuzone, Portal RH and Numeran are the major online job search sites in the Argentinean market. Increasingly, companies within Argentina rely upon these and other online job resource databases and search firms to advertise opportunities and to solicit available labor resources. Most companies have up-to-date websites where a job applicant can contact the company's human resource department and search the job opportunities listed. Contacting the human resource department by email is also an acceptable way to inquire about a position. Sunday editions of Clarin and La Nacion newspapers are the main publications used for identifying a job opportunity.

There are plenty of online job sites that focus on Argentina and, in general, their services are free. One should focus on the sites that are related to one's profile and interests in order to optimize the job search efforts. Most of them are in Spanish only.

The PRH site allows one to search for executive jobs from 24 top human resource agencies. By placing a resume on the site, one can connect with the most important local HR agencies that manage executive positions in the market. In addition, job seekers can sign up to receive e-mail announcements of relevant jobs. A related site where the job seeker can connect with a variety of non-executive positions is provided at: http://www.busquedasrh.com.ar/php/index.php.

This is just a sample of what you'll find in the complete Argentina guide.
