   :: Work Permits/Visa

Excerpted from the Peru Guide

Peru has a wide variety of schools and businesses that operate throughout the country. Lima is the major hub of business and also has the majority of undergraduate and graduate schools. As a result, there is a lot of international traffic going to and from the country. The visa process is generally straightforward but be sure to begin the visa application process in advance of the anticipated travel dates. Also, the option to work in Peru as a student does exist but an employer must be found that is willing to offer its support in order to obtain a business visa.

Nationals of all countries require a business visa in order to work in Peru on a temporary basis. A business visa is not required to attend meetings or conferences. Business visa holders can remain in Peru for up to 90 days.

This is just a sample of what you'll find in the complete Peru guide.
