U.S. Regional Business Associations (both general business and technology specific councils) exist throughout the U.S., with the goal of improving the economic success for local members. Such groups typically provide press coverage and directories, in addition to offering numerous networking opportunities for members to reach potential new customers.
British-American Business Council

The BABC is the largest transatlantic business network, with chapters and 3,500 member companies, based in more than 20 major business centers throughout North America and the United Kingdom. The BABC’s chapters are all independent British-American business organizations that participate in the BABC to provide a broader transatlantic business network and additional benefits for their member companies, including marketing, networking and business intelligence opportunities.

The Business Council is a voluntary association of business leaders whose members meet several times a year for the free exchange of ideas both among themselves and with representatives of governments. The council membership is comprised of current or former chief executive officers from a broad range of companies. Since its founding more than a half a century ago, the Business Council has been dedicated to service in the national interest. All major industries are represented among the members of The Business Council.

ATW is dedicated to empowering women in technology, increasing the number of women in executive roles, and encouraging women and girls to enter technology fields. It offers education and training in current technology trends, scholarships and educational services, access to leaders in academia, technology, business and science, and tools for career and professional advancement in science, technology, engineering, computing and mathematics. Its mentor program matches applicants with executive-level mentors for specifically-designed and individually-prescribed mentor relationships. It also offers executive leadership forums and coaching programs designed for senior level professionals and emerging leaders, which are provided in concert with a partner organization of top female leaders. Its local chapter events provide a forum for industry education, along with the opportunity to meet and connect with members and guests. Membership fees vary by level: Individual Professional $125US; Student, In Transition, Unemployed, or Retired $50US; Individual Executive $250US; and Executive In Transition, Unemployed, or Retired $200US.
